Discord - Check, Discord API/Invite Code - Nope
Posted: Tue Apr 23, 2019 11:05 amIt doesn't take an Albert Einstein to realize that the activity on our DCL server is way more active than the DCL web page. Why not take advantage of that?
Most gaming communities have discord servers, but they also have an invite code/widget embedded on the web page.
Take the Descent Rangers website for instance: Not only does it have an Infinite invite code, but it also has a Discord widget where if logged in can interact with the server from the home page.
Not only can a guest size up the number of people in the server, but they can dictate whether they want to join before actually having to join.

EDIT: If this is asking for too much, or just uncharacteristic of the DCL's style, at least add a section in the rules talking about, or introducing our Discord server. Right now the only way to the server is through the discord rangers or personal invite.
